Our Global asset manager partner, who is establishing its new business service center in Budapest is hiring a Asset Servicing Team Lead. Their purpose is to help clients define and achieve superior financial outcomes through differentiated insights, disciplined investment approaches, and exceptional service.
Your new role
As the Team Lead, you will guide a team of Asset Servicing analysts responsible for end‑to‑end processes across multiple asset classes. You’ll play a key role in optimizing workflows, mitigating risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building a collaborative, high‑performing team culture.
Your responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Asset Servicing professionals
- Oversee the full asset servicing lifecycle with accuracy and control
- Manage voluntary elections and escalate critical items to front office
- Drive process improvements and support strategic operational initiatives
- Partner with Investment, Tech, Legal, Risk & Compliance teams
- Represent the function during audits and regulatory reviews
- Build strong relationships with custodians, advisors, and external partners
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong experience in Asset Servicing (corporate actions, elections, income)
- Knowledge of corporate action platforms, proxy systems & SWIFT messaging
- Proven leadership experience in financial services or asset management
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
