Bid Manager (Bid Project Manager)
Key responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end bid process (from opportunity qualification to submission)
- Build and maintain bid timelines, task lists, and deliverables tracking
- Coordinate inputs across internal teams (engineering, finance, legal, BD)
- Follow up on deadlines and ensure on-time delivery of all components
- Assist in preparing commercial and legal proposal sections, as well as the management, implementation and technical proposal sections.
- Detailed work in the preparation of the management, implementation and technical proposal in a project manager role, like preparation of the WBS, WPDs and HC plans according to the SoW in the ITT Data Pack.
- Ensure compliance with RFP / ITT requirements (including ESA tenders where applicable)
- Contribute to win strategy and proposal positioning
- Support preparation of GO / NO-GO materials
- Work closely with internal departments (Engineering and System Teams, Project Managers, Finance and Legal team, Business Development)
- Distributing tasks across the relevant teams and departments, defining deadlines, and continuously following up to ensure that all required inputs are delivered on time and at the expected quality level.
- Maintain bid documentation, templates, and version control
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Engineering or a related field
- 2–6 years of experience in:

Bid / Proposal Management or Pre-sales / Business Support roles in a technical environment

Project Coordination / Project Management

Bid / Proposal Management or Pre-sales / Business Support roles in a technical environment
- Exposure to structured bidding processes is preferred
- English (B2+) and native Hungarian speaking
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, ability to coordinate bid projects between cross functional teams
- Good communication and stakeholder management
- Attention to detail and structured way of working
Considered a Plus
- Experience in EU and Hungarian funding programmes
- Experience in engineering, aerospace, defence, or technology sectors is an advantage
- Experience with ESA programs and fundings
- Understanding of ECSS
- Experience with project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira) is a plus
- Exposure to CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is an advantage
