On behalf of our Partner, a global leader in cloud innovation, we are looking for a tech-savvy Junior Platform Engineer to join the team behind the Cloud Kubernetes Service (IKS).

IKS is the fastest-growing area within their cloud ecosystem, serving as the backbone for both internal services and major global customers. If you want to work on a platform used by millions, alongside experts from the US, Germany, India, and beyond, this is your chance!

You will be part of the core organization building the next generation of cloud infrastructure. You won't just use the cloud—you will build the internals that make it run.

• Platform Engineering: Develop and maintain Kubernetes and OpenShift internals, including load balancers, proxies, and DNS.

• Code & Deploy: Specify, build, test, and support production-grade code within a completely automated release pipeline.

• Reliability: Collaborate with cross-functional DevOps and SRE teams to improve platform performance and reliability.

• Troubleshoot: Solve "hard problems" and assist with complex system troubleshooting on a global scale.

• Document: Contribute to platform documentation and share best practices to help the platform scale.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Coding Fundamentals: Skilled in building, testing, and maintaining production-grade code.

• Communication: Excellent English skills (written and spoken) for global collaboration.

• Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting ability, clear documentation practices, and a proactive mindset.

• Commitment: Available for 24 hours/week.

If you have experience with (or a passion for) these, we definitely want to talk to you:

• Containerization: Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.

• Networking: Understanding of IP networks, traffic routing, or Service Mesh (e.g., Istio).

• Development: Solid programming background—Golang is highly preferred!

• Automation: Scripting (Bash/Shell) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).

• CI/CD: Experience with Tekton, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

• Observability: Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or Sysdig.

• Gross Wage: 2,500 HUF/hour.

• Working Hours: 24 hours/week (flexible).
