Our team is currently working on several high-profile projects, including the animated film series based on the world-famous card game Magic: The Gathering for Netflix. We are looking for experienced CFX Artists to work with us on future projects, either as onboard artists or freelancers!

Character FX Artist (Speculative)
Responsibilities
-
Simulating cloth and hair movements and deformations in shots, related to the characters appearing in DIGIC’s 3D animated projects - in a stylized style, in compliance with physical attributions and the artistic intentions of the director

Tweaking the dynamic cloth and hair setups, setting up the simulation parameters for the characters

Close cooperation with the project lead, and occasionally with animation and rigging teams
Essential Skills
-
Production experience in
-
CFX Production-level knowledge of the simulation tools of Autodesk Maya (nCloth, nHair)
-
Great imagination and aesthetic sense
-
Familiarity with the motion dynamics of cloth and hair
-
Fluency in English
Desirable Skills
-
At least basic rigging and modeling skills or experience

Some experience in simulation with Marvelous Designer

Basic knowledge of Houdini Vellum
