Customer Quality Engineer
Feladatok
Customer Quality Management
- Serve as the primary quality contact for customer-related quality issues and on-site support activities.
- Handle customer delivery exceptions and coordinate timely resolution of quality concerns.
- Investigate and manage product quality issues identified at customer sites.
- Provide prompt feedback and escalation of customer quality issues to internal stakeholders.
- Support customer satisfaction initiatives and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.
Warehouse Product Repackaging and Inspection
- Manage the repackaging of battery products shipped from China and stored in the warehouse.
- Perform electrical performance retesting of products following repackaging or handling activities.
- Identify, isolate, and coordinate disposition of defective products discovered during inspection or repackaging processes.
- Ensure all repackaging and testing activities comply with quality and safety requirements.
Warehouse Quality and Inventory Management
- Establish and maintain warehouse quality and safety procedures for loading, unloading, unpacking, testing, storage, and transportation activities.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with warehouse safety regulations and operating procedures.
- Conduct safety inspections on returned battery products and ensure appropriate handling before storage.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming, outgoing, transferred, and non-conforming materials.
- Perform monthly inventory audits and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers and warehouse partners to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Elvárások
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Materials Science, Electronics, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Equivalent combinations of education, technical training, and relevant work experience will also be considered.
Skills & Knowledge

Fluent in English and Hungarian, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements and the Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA).
- Proficient in applying the Seven Basic Quality Tools for problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Experience preparing and reviewing quality reports using methodologies such as:
- 8D Problem Solving
- Fishbone (Ishikawa) Analysis
- Root Cause Analysis
- Strong communication, coordination, and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of quality-related experience within the battery manufacturing industry.
- Minimum 2 years of quality engineering experience within the automotive industry.
- Experience working directly with customers, suppliers, or field quality issues is preferred.
- Experience in warehouse quality management, product inspection, or logistics quality is an advantage.
