Your Key Responsibilities

• Platform Management: As a Data Analytics & Reporting Specialist, you take ownership of our Power BI platform – from operations and support to lifecycle management, testing, and release management
• Business Partnering: You act as a competent advisor to business units, analyze complex user requirements, and provide solid support in defining KPIs and reports
• End-to-End Reporting: You design and implement meaningful reports and dashboards and ensure a smooth reporting workflow
• Data Infrastructure: In close collaboration with Data Engineering, you continuously optimize data models, ETL processes, and the data warehouse architecture
• Developing complex DAX calculations for Power BI dashboards

Additionally, you ideally support the team with:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL
• Building and maintaining data lakehouse solutions with Databricks in the Microsoft Azure Cloud

Your Profile

• Qualifications: You hold a degree (University/FH) in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable qualification, with at least two years of relevant professional experience
• Power BI Expertise: You are proficient in Power BI and DAX – ideally with experience in both project work and ongoing operations, whether in-house or in consulting
• Analytical Mindset: You easily grasp complex data structures. A solid understanding of statistics and the ability to quickly identify logical relationships distinguish you
• Business Understanding: You combine a deep understanding of reporting requirements and KPIs with strong business acumen
• Tech Stack: Ideally, you have knowledge of SQL, Python, and Databricks
• Cloud Experience: Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse) is a plus
• Language Skills: Confident English skills for daily active use are essential; German language knowledge at a communicative level is expected
