What awaits you?
−Help design packaging that keeps products safe, uses materials wisely, and stays affordable.
−Team up with Packaging Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, and Supplier Quality to make packaging that fits BMW’s needs and global shipping requirements.
−Work on things like how packages are laid out on lines, how goods are moved, and small changes that cut waste, save money, and speed up getting materials to BMW plants and storage.
−You’ll have a mentor and a network of packaging engineers to help you grow. You’ll learn basics of packaging design, cost planning, standards, and BMW project methods.
−Align with BMW’s goals to be more sustainable (recyclable packaging, lighter materials) and make sure packaging meets safety, labelling, and regional rules (EU, US, APAC) where BMW operates.
What should you bring along?
-IT skills (PPT, Excel, Word). Proficiency in 3D modelling software is a plus.
-Fluent English language skills (Both spoken and written).
-Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
-Good organizational, communication skills and eagerness to learn.
-Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
-At least 30 hours/week is preferred.
