Project specific intro:
The Vulnerability Tracking System (VTS) is a centralized solution that detects and tracks security vulnerabilities across Siemens’ applications and components by correlating them with a vulnerability database, enabling a shift-left security approach.
You’ll make an impact by:
•Design, develop, and improve features of the Vulnerability Tracking System
•Refactor and maintain high-quality C# (.NET 8) service code
•Implement and monitor security requirements within the application
•Develop and support integrations with internal tools and customer systems
•Maintain and improve CI/CD processes and infrastructure in Azure DevOps
•Contribute to documentation, knowledge transfer, and independent further development
Your success is grounded in:
•C# (.NET 8), solid OOP knowledge
•REST APIs, Git, and unit testing (xUnit/NUnit, Moq)
•Basic SQL knowledge
•English language knowledge (Written and Oral)
You’ll stand out with:
•Entity Framework Core, async/await, LINQ, DI, SOLID
•Azure DevOps basics
•Docker, Kubernetes, React, design patterns, structured logging
