We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for our Budapest office to make our team even stronger.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and supporting the manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing activities of high-quality space electronics, electrical subsystems and related ground support equipment, while actively contributing to project execution and manufacturing readiness reviews.
Electrical Manufacturing Engineer
Key responsibilities

Work closely with electrical design engineers, test engineers, quality engineers, suppliers, technicians, and project teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve product manufacturability

Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing, assembly, integration, and inspection processes for electronic assemblies, PCBAs, cable harnesses, and electrical subsystems according to applicable industry and ECSS standards

Prepare and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, work instructions, process flows, assembly procedures, and readiness inputs for electrical hardware

Participate in project work by supporting planning, task tracking, milestone preparation, and coordination of manufacturing activities with design, quality, procurement, and test teams

Prepare for and participate in Manufacturing Readiness Reviews (MRR), ensuring manufacturing documentation, materials, tooling, processes, and test readiness are available and aligned with project needs

Prepare, support, and verify functional, integration, and acceptance test plans for electrical units and subsystems

Inspect incoming electrical and electronic parts, assemblies, and manufacturing deliverables, and support non-conformance handling and root cause analysis

Design and support tools, fixtures, and electrical ground support equipment needed for assembly, integration, and testing
Requirements

BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering

3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, electronics production, assembly, integration, test engineering, or related project work

Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and write manufacturing documentation

Hands-on knowledge of electronic assemblies, PCBAs, cable harnesses, laboratory or production test equipment, and manufacturing processes

Experience with CAD or ECAD tools and a strong understanding of electrical integration, inspection, and testing methods

Experience working in cross-functional project teams and supporting planning, coordination, and milestone-driven deliverables

Flexibility, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Proficiency in English
Considered a Plus

Work experience in aerospace, electronics manufacturing, automotive, or other high-reliability industries

Knowledge of ECSS and other applicable standards such as ISO, AS, NASA TS, or MIL

Experience with PCBA manufacturing, harness assembly, ESD-controlled environments, or electrical ground support equipment

Experience participating in Manufacturing Readiness Reviews (MRR) or other project milestone and readiness reviews
