We are looking for a hands‑on EMC / ESD Test Engineer to perform, maintain, and develop EMC and ESD test activities, including responsibility for test equipment and laboratory environments, in line with international and ECSS standards.
EMC/ESD Test Engineer
Key responsibilities

Perform EMC and ESD testing (emissions, immunity, ESD, EFT, surge, conducted and radiated).

Execute pre‑compliance and compliance testing according to IEC, CISPR, EN, FCC, ISO, and ECSS standards.

Take responsibility for the installation, setup, configuration, and validation of EMC/ESD test equipment and test environments.

Operate and maintain EMC/ESD equipment such as anechoic chambers, spectrum analyzers, LISNs, amplifiers, signal generators, and ESD simulators (guns).

Ensure EMC test environments meet performance, calibration, safety, and quality requirements.

Analyze test results, identify failure mechanisms, and support troubleshooting and corrective actions with design teams.

Prepare test plans, test reports, and technical compliance documentation.

Support collaboration with external test houses, certification bodies, and auditors.
Requirements

Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or a related field.

Strong practical understanding of EMC, EMI, and ESD principles.

Hands‑on experience with EMC/ESD test setups, laboratories, and standards

Experience setting up, commissioning, and validating EMC test systems and environments.

Ability to read and understand schematics, PCB layouts, and technical documentation.

Structured, quality‑driven working style and good English communication skills.
Considered a Plus
-
Experience in space, aerospace, automotive, industrial, medical, or consumer electronics testing.

RF / radio compliance exposure (RED, ETSI, FCC).

Experience in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory.

Test automation or scripting experience (LabVIEW, Python).

Familiarity with ESD control programs and lab audits.

Familiarity with ECSS
