We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and verifying complex FPGA systems for high-performance, mission-critical, and space-grade applications.
FPGA Engineer
Key responsibilities

Design and implement FPGA solutions using VHDL for space-grade equipment.

Perform functional verification and validation of FPGA designs, ensuring compliance with aerospace and mission-critical requirements.

Develop ECSS-compliant documentation for all phases of the FPGA lifecycle

Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration into complex aerospace systems.

Support architectural and design decisions, focusing on reliability, fault tolerance, and long-term maintainability.
Requirements

BSc or MSc degree in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering
-
Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in FPGA design, implementation, and/or verification.

Proficient in VHDL programming language.

Strong knowledge of FPGA design toolchains and verification environments (e.g., Vivado, Libero Soc , Riviera-PRO).

Relevant experience in at least one of the following areas:

Telecommunications fundamentals and related system design.
-
High-speed interface technologies, including PCIe, 10GbE, 25GbE, DDR4.
-
Safety-critical or mission-critical systems design (e.g., radiation mitigation, hot/warm/cold redundancy).

Hands-on experience with Xilinx or Microchip SoC FPGAs.
-
Verification experience in one of the above domains.

Proficiency in English
Considered a Plus

Experience in embedded software development

Experience in space-grade systems development or ECSS standards

Experience with any embedded Real Time Operating System (RTOS)

Familiarity with Agile processes

Work experience in space exploration, aerospace or automotive industry

Knowledge of ISO and/or other applicable standards (ECSS, NASA, MIL, etc.)

Ability to collaborate with colleagues working in different fields
