General Ledger Supervisor- Debrecen állás

Feladatok

• Lead the GL function and ensure accurate and timely posting of all general ledger entries in accordance with IFRS and local tax regulations.
  
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities, ensuring timely submission to both local management and China Group HQ.
  
• Review and supervise journal entries, accruals, provisions, intercompany transactions, and reconciliations.
  
• Maintain accounting policies and ensure compliance with IFRS, while aligning with CAS and HKAS reporting requirements for group consolidation.
  
• Prepare monthly financial statements, analytical review reports, and variance analysis for local management.
  
• Ensure the smooth preparation of reporting packages for China HQ (CAS consolidation) and Hong Kong listing requirements (HKAS consolidation).
  
• Coordinate closely with group finance for reporting timelines, adjustments, consolidation entries, and compliance documentation.
  
• Oversee fixed asset accounting, depreciation, capitalization, and asset register integrity.
  
• Coordinate with logistics, procurement, production, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate financial records.
  
• Support local statutory audits, tax filings, and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
  
• Ensure compliance with Hungarian tax regulations (CIT, local business tax, VAT) while aligning group reporting differences (IFRS vs CAS vs HKAS).
  
• Strengthen internal control procedures and ensure documentation meets HQ group audit standards and SOX-like controls
  
• Drive process improvements, digitalization, SAP optimization, and workflow standardization.
  
• Facilitate communication between Hungarian finance team and China HQ, ensuring timely alignment on policies, reporting, and issues.
  

Elvárások

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in General Ledger, Financial Accounting, or Audit, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior accountant role.
  
• Experience in manufacturing or factory accounting strongly preferred.
  
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (procurement, logistics, tax, HR, operations)
  
• Working experience in multinational companies, especially with China HQ or Asia-based group reporting, is a significant plus.
  
• Familiarity with IFRS compliance, statutory audit, tax filing in Hungary and group consolidation reporting.
  
• 
  Strong command of IFRS, with understanding of differences between CAS / IFRS / HKAS.
