We are looking for an experienced professional to lead government relations and external affairs for an Asian-owned company, ensuring strong alignment between the company’s strategic objectives and the Hungarian regulatory and stakeholder environment.
Government Relations Expert
Feladatok
- Build and maintain effective relationships with national and local government bodies, authorities, and regulators
- Act as the company’s representative in official discussions, industry forums, and stakeholder consultations
- Track and interpret regulatory and political developments, providing strategic insights to senior leadership
- Shape and implement external affairs strategies in line with business objectives and corporate values
- Facilitate permitting, licensing, and other administrative procedures
- Develop executive briefings, stakeholder updates, and decision-support materials
Elvárások
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Affairs, Political Science, Communications, International Relations, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or external communications or experience as a company manager or representative
- Deep understanding of Hungarian regulatory, and cultural landscape
- Experience working with multinational companies or foreign direct investments (FDI) preferred
- Fluent in Hungarian and English both oral and written
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication skills
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments with diplomacy and strategic foresight
