High Speed Electronics Design Engineer
Key responsibilities
-
Design of unique on-board computers and their major components, such as microprocessors and support components, meeting very stringent requirements in terms of radiation tolerance, reliability, availability, and safety, active participation in payload development

Complex I/O management
-
Interfacing on-board buses, data networks and user interfaces for data transmission, control and monitoring purposes
-
On-board and space to ground data communication protocols, including protocol security aspects

Management and updating of technical documentation
-
Participation in the procurement processes
Requirements
-
BSc or MSc degree in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering
-
5+ years of experience in Hardware Design Engineering
-
2+ years of experience in High Speed Electrical Engineering
-
Broad experience in data buses and data networks
-
Proficiency in CAD systems (especially Altium Designer)
-
Broad experience in computer electronic designs (Microprocessors, mass memories, remote terminal units, data networks and user interfaces

Intermediate-level English knowledge
Considered a Plus

Knowledge of space to ground data communication protocols

Work experience in space exploration, aerospace or automotive industry

Microprocessor and FPGA programming experience

Knowledge of ISO and/or other applicable standards (ECSS, NASA, MIL, etc.)

Ability to collaborate with colleagues working in different fields
