As an , you will be responsible for executing and continuously improving our internal Quality Management System audits. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, driving corrective actions, and supporting the ongoing development of company processes based on audit findings.
Your work will ensure compliance and enable a practical interpretation of evolving requirements in the dynamic Space Industry.
Internal Auditor
Key responsibilities

Conduct internal audits across departments based on the audit program and audit plans.

Evaluate conformance to applicable standards (ISO 9001, AS9100), customer requirements, and internal procedures.

Identify non-conformities, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Provide recommendations for process improvements based on the audit in order to achieve compliance.

Assess the effectiveness, efficiency, and control of organizational processes.
-
Document audit results, including findings, clearly and objectively in audit reports.

Communicate results to auditees and management.
-
Record and track findings in the dedicated tool.
-
Work with process owners to ensure corrective actions address root causes and prevent recurrence.

Verify the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions through follow-up activities.

Support the planning and preparation of the audit program and plans, including creation and review of required documents.

Support the preparation and reporting of performance indicators (KPIs) related to audit management.

Support preparation for external audits

Participate in the continuous development of the QMS.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s or master’s degree (BSc/MSc) in engineering, quality management, industrial/management systems, or in a related field.

Proven experience in QMS internal auditing (ISO 9001 or other industry-relevant standards)

Work experience with AS9100 certified company

Auditor certification (e.g. ISO 9001 Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor)

Strong understanding of quality management principles, corrective actions, and continuous improvement
-
Experience in identifying non-conformities and driving corrective and preventive actions
-
Excellent documentation and report-writing skills
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
High attention to detail and accuracy
-
Ability to communicate effectively across different levels and departments
-
Proactive mindset with a process-improvement attitude
-
Ability to work independently and manage multiple audits/tasks in parallel
-
Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Familiarity with quality tools (e.g. RCA, PDCA, FMEA)
Considered a Plus

Knowledge of Jira/Confluence/Eclipse suite tools

Knowledge of ECSS space standards (European Cooperation for Space Standardization (ecss.nl), NASA TS Space Standards (NASA Technical Standards System (NTSS)

Experience in EE development projects or EE production.
