Your new role
As a Supply Chain Engineer, you will support international supply chain planning and optimisation projects. Your role will focus on analysing transportation networks, improving planning processes, and supporting customers through innovative, data-driven optimisation concepts. In addition to customer-related tasks, you will take part in internal initiatives and knowledge sharing.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Analysing and optimising supply chain and transportation networks
- Implementing improvement measures based on analytical findings
- Identifying and addressing weak points in customers’ transportation networks
- Mentoring and supporting new colleagues
- Working closely with managers and project managers in an international setup
- Supporting internal initiatives such as acquisition processes and independent assignments beyond customer projects
- Contributing to the development and implementation of innovative optimisation concepts
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you bring analytical strength, relevant experience, and strong motivation. You have:
- A university degree in supply chain management, logistics, transportation management, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in transportation planning, optimisation, or analysis, ideally within automotive or consulting environments
- A structured, conceptual way of working with a strong affinity for numbers and data analysis
- Very good English communication skills
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel
- A genuine interest in supply chain topics and motivation to work with international teams
- The personality, skills, and mindset to actively contribute to organisational growth
