Your new role
- Build strong expertise in our monitoring platforms and leverage them to meet customer and business monitoring needs
- Gather, analyse, and translate monitoring requirements into implementable solutions using existing tools.
- Design, implement, and test monitoring configurations and enhancements
- Collaborate with analysts, developers, and architects on new features and improvements to monitor applications.
- Work with engineering teams to define, apply, and maintain architectural standards and best practices
- Perform functional analysis and provide effort estimates for proposed changes
- Stay up to date with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in IT monitoring and observability
What you'll need to succeed
- 3+ years of experience in IT monitoring or related technical roles
- Strong knowledge of monitoring concepts such as synthetic monitoring and application performance monitoring
- Hands‑on experience with Datadog (consulting or expert level preferred)
- Solid understanding of application architectures and hybrid cloud / on‑premise environments
- Experience with scripting or programming technologies
