Junior Back-end Developer - Budapest állás

Are you passionate about software development, cloud technologies, and modern backend systems? Are you currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional development environment? • Develop and maintain backend services and applications.

• Participate in the design and implementation of RESTful APIs.

• Contribute to cloud-native and Kubernetes-based solutions.

• Collaborate with team members across different locations and time zones.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

• Learn and work with Go (Golang) as part of the development process.

• Participate in code reviews and agile development activities.

Working Hours: 32–40 hours per week

Education

• Currently pursuing a BSc, MSc, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

• Students from Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), or similar institutions are especially encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills

• Basic hands-on software development experience gained through university projects, internships, personal projects, or junior-level professional experience.

• Knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language such as:

  • Java

  • Python

  • C++

• Willingness and motivation to learn Go (Golang).

Language Skills

• Hungarian – professional working proficiency.

• English – professional working proficiency.

• It is a plus, if You already know what is golang.

• It is a plus, if You already know what is Kubernetes.

• Gross Hourly Wage: HUF 2,500/hour
