Laboratory technician

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician colleague for the newly built chemical production plant of our famous Japanese client

Tasks

• Responsibility for the coordination and implementation of quality control, calibration, sampling and control activities in the SESE Compounding Laboratory
• Ensure that all production samples are checked in accordance with the test procedures
• Responsibility for test results, inspection status and certificate of analysis (CoA) of manufactured products
• Test production samples according to procedures using a standard test result sheet
• Analyze trends, detect and identify unusual or inappropriate data
• Implementation of testing processes in accordance with international standards
• Inform the production department of the results of the test and, if necessary, identify and discuss ideas for improvement
• Record test results on the checklist
• Compile, store, print and archive product qualification reports
• Maintenance and calibration of test equipment according to the calibration plan
• Professional advice on the repair, development and replacement of test equipment and assistance in the selection, purchase, installation and testing of new test equipment
• Support the manager in sampling, testing product development and product modification projects, Investigating customer complaints and other quality issues, and development projects
• Participation in process quality (repair), etc. in projects (eg ISO)
• Administration of waste disposal, preparation of an annual overview report on de-energized waste
• Participation in relevant professional meetings
  
  

Expectations

• Laboratory technician or similar relevant qualification
• At least 3-4 years of professional experience in a similar job
• Communication level English language skills (immediate supervisor does not speak Hungarian) Knowledge of physical testing procedures
• Proficiency in handling (hazardous) chemicals
• Basic statistical knowledge
• Confident use of MS office
• Good verbal, reading and writing skills both in English and Hungarian7
• Precise and exact workstyle
• Analytical and advisory skills
• Ability to organize work independently
• Undertaking learning in Netherlands if it is necessary during the probation period
