DIGIC is looking for talented artists to bring the stylized fantasy world of the Magic: The Gathering Netflix series to life. We are seeking Lighting and Compositing Artists who can blend technical precision with an artistic eye to create stunning, atmospheric visuals.
Lighting & Compositing Artist (All levels)
Responsibilities

Shot Production: Take shots from start to finish, including lighting, rendering, and final compositing.

Aesthetic Execution: Follow established "look-dev" and creative direction to ensure visual consistency across the series.

Technical Integration: Work within our pipeline using Gaffer and Nuke to manage AOVs and complex node-based setups.

Collaboration: Partner with the Lead Artist and CG Supervisor to troubleshoot technical issues and refine the lighting/comp workflow.

Feedback Loop: Actively participate in dailies, incorporating feedback to meet the high-quality standards of the project.

Asset Care: Ensure all lighting rigs and comp templates are maintained and used efficiently.
Essential Skills

Experience Levels: We are open to artists. Level-specific tasks will be assigned based on your expertise.

Legal: Freelancers or contractors legally able to invoice under Hungarian law.

Software Mastery:

Lighting: Good knowledge of Gaffer or similar node-based 3D lighting scenes such as Katana or Solaris.

Rendering: Good knowledge of Arnold, or similar path-tracing engines.

Compositing: Good in Nuke or similar node-based compositing experience, specifically for stylized content.

Artistic Eye: A strong understanding of light, color, composition, and stylized rendering.

Communication: Good English skills (spoken and written).
