Our client, a leading pharmaceutical services company, is expanding its European marketing presence. As Marketing Manager (Hungary), you will play a key role in developing and executing the full local marketing strategy — supporting the acquisition of new patients/clients, increasing engagement and retention, and building strong, long-term brand awareness.
Marketing Manager - Pharma
Main duties and responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the Hungarian marketing strategy, aligned with European brand direction
- Own the end-to-end patient/client journey — from awareness and consideration to retention and referrals
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, offline, CRM, and PR channels
- Collaborate with local agencies, operational teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver impactful, on-brand communication
- Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to refine strategy
- Manage external partners and oversee the local marketing budget
- Drive performance marketing initiatives, including SEO, PPC, and CRM programs, to support acquisition and loyalty
- Partner with external stakeholders, including community and institutional partners
Required competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, ideally within FMCG or pharmaceutical/healthcare industries
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on, data-driven approach to execution
- Proven experience in digital marketing, CRM, content optimization, and integrated campaigns
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across functions and seniority levels
- Self-starter with high ownership, adaptability, and a proactive mindset
- Fluent in Hungarian and English
