Our client, a pharmaceutical company, is looking for a Medical Specialist to support its RX portfolio in Hungary. The role covers multiple therapeutic areas and focuses on scientific engagement with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders. You will contribute to medical strategy, ensure high-quality scientific communication, and support portfolio and launch activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Main duties and responsibilities

Act as a medical expert across multiple therapeutic areas and support scientific engagement with HCPs and KOLs
Translate clinical data into clear, compliant communication and deliver presentations and training materials
Contribute to medical and brand strategies, including portfolio management and product launches
Lead and support omnichannel scientific communication (digital, webinars, events)
Build and maintain strong external partnerships with KOLs and healthcare professionals
Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical, Brand, Regulatory, and PV teams
Ensure compliance of all materials and activities with local regulations and industry standards

Required competencies

Advanced degree in life sciences (MD, PharmD, MSc, PhD or equivalent)
2–5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry (Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, or Medical Information preferred)
Fluent Hungarian and English (additional language is an advantage)
Strong scientific communication skills for HCP audiences
Experience with digital and/or omnichannel engagement
