The on-site expeditor will be responsible for liaising with Our partner Sourcing Teams in order to balance and prioritize global demand at key suppliers to improve On-time delivery (OTD). Set priorities among purchase orders (PO) base on priority (forced outage, assembly schedule, forecast demand, etc.). Have daily review with suppliers on capacity, raw material availability, and review production plan in order to provide reliable promise date on POs short and long term. Perform a capacity assessment to indicate potential peek periods in demand/supply.

Feladatok:

• prioritize demand for PS Sourcing and GPS to meet the emergency, forced outages, and short cycle customer demands
• coordinate supply allocation according to global demand
• assess supplier capacity and reports to management on regular basis (weekly, monthly)
• be present at supplier sites 4 days a week to monitor planning and be able to provide up to date promise date on POs.
• monitor raw material availability and sub-suppliers capacity of suppliers
• improve first promise OTD performance of the supplier and “say-do ratio”.
• facilitate new product introductions (NPI) with the supplier and SQE and sourcing in order to minimize development and qualification cycle time
• validate Manufacturing Lead Time on part number level, and make sure sourcing ERP kept up to date accordingly
• support key sourcing initiatives, continuous improvement, and Lean process improvements to at supplier site to increase flexibility and reduce Lead Time

Elvárások:

• BS, BA in Business Management, Engineering, or Technical Degree
• 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in the supply chain field
• fluent in English, French or Italian is welcome
• strong project/program leadership skills
• self-starter, resourceful, team player attitude
