Operational Buyer (German Speaker) - Budapest állás

Are you a fluent German and English speaker looking to gain valuable experience in an international corporate environment? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to join a global procurement team in Budapest as an Operational Buyer. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your professional skills, work with international stakeholders, and gain hands-on experience in procurement, supplier management, and business operations while continuing your studies.

• Review and validate purchase requisition requirements,

• Communicate with requesters and suppliers to gather necessary information,

• Handle procurement of low-value purchases within the agreed threshold,

• Process purchase orders efficiently in SAP and other client-based systems,

• Manage incoming emails and tickets from clients in a timely manner,

• Initiate new supplier setups when required,

• Support additional tasks aligned with the responsibilities of an Operational Buyer.

• Active student status

• Fluent English and German language skills (both written and spoken)

• Availability to work a minimum of 30–35 hours per week on a long-term basis (not only during the summer period)

• Previous experience in a corporate environment is an advantage, particularly in Procurement, Finance, Human Resources, IT Helpdesk, or other process-driven roles

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to understand and follow complex procedures and processes

• Proactive, team-oriented, and willing to learn

• Good organizational and time-management skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other standard office applications

• Experience with SAP Ariba, SAP, or other procurement systems

• Knowledge of procurement or purchasing processes

• Previous experience working with ticketing systems or shared service environments

• Gross Hourly Wage: 2,300 HUF/hour
