In this role, you will:
- Support all site start-up activities in Germany, including local regulatory and operational steps required to open clinical sites.
- Lead and manage contract and budget negotiations with clinical sites, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the agreement process.
- Oversee site identification, evaluating potential sites and coordinating with local stakeholders to confirm feasibility and suitability.
- Adapt and finalise the Informed Consent Form (ICF) in alignment with national regulations and study‑specific guidelines.
- Prepare and submit documentation to ethics committees, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and on‑time delivery.
- Maintain the investigator site file, ensuring all essential documents are ready ahead of site activation.
- Collaborate closely with the project team on a large‑scale study in Germany, contributing to efficient and timely study initiation.
- Maintain ongoing communication with internal teams, clearly reporting progress, risks, and outstanding actions.
What you need to succeed:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
- Degree in a scientific or healthcare‑related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Study Start‑Up, Site Management, or similar roles, including contract negotiation with clinical sites.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across various studies.
- Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and relationship‑building skills.
- Understanding of electronic data capture systems and basic data processing functions.
- Familiarity with ICH‑GCP guidelines and applicable regulations governing clinical research.
