On behalf of our partner company in the food industry, we are seeking an experienced leader with active English language skills for the position of Plant Manager.
Plant Manager
Main duties and responsibilities
- Operational and strategic management of the plant’s production activities to ensure efficiency, product safety, and excellent quality
- Achieving production targets and improving performance; participating in projects to optimize production development and process optimization
- Close collaboration with the logistics team to coordinate production and logistics processes
- Annual planning of plant operations: cost planning, workforce and labor cost planning, and shift schedules etc.
- Overseeing preventive maintenance processes for production lines and ensuring the availability of equipment necessary for daily operations
- Liaising with regulatory authorities and service providers
- Ensuring compliance with occupational safety, fire safety, hygiene, and quality assurance regulations
- Submitting necessary investment proposals and assisting in their implementation
Required competencies
- Higher education degree in engineering field
- At least 5 years of relevant managerial and operational production management experience, preferably in the food industry or a highly regulated manufacturing environment
- Intermediate working knowledge of English
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Systems and process-oriented mindset
