Product Assurance Engineer
Key responsibilities
- Process validation during the whole project lifecycle
- Supervision of manufacturing, integration, and testing activities from a Product Assurance (PA) perspective
- Participation in the inspection of incoming parts, materials, and units (Incoming Inspection – Stage 2)
- Support and verification of the maintenance of qualification and declared lists (PSL, ABCL, QSL, etc.)
- Providing inputs for the preparation of the Product Assurance Plan (PAP) and other PA-related documentation
- Support handling (including RCA) and follow-up of nonconformances (NCRs)
- Preparation and execution of internal/external audits and reviews
- Support to engineering, MAIT, and QA teams from a PA perspective
- Identification and reporting of risks at PA engineering level with verification the implementation of mitigations
- Active participation in lessons learned and continuous improvement processes
- In-process inspection of manufacturing and assembly activities
- Monitoring the inspection points of manufacturing and MAIT processes (KIPs, MIPs)
- PA support to R&D and software development activities as needed
Requirements
- BSc/MSc degree in Engineering and/or Quality or equivalent professional experiences
- Good command of English
- Experience in working with standards
- Experience in Product Assurance, Quality Assurance, or Testing high-reliability electronics, or precision manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work methodically in a documentation-driven environment
- Familiarity with inspection activities or failure investigation
- Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to contribute to process optimization
- Knowledge of quality measurement system(s), and KPI(s)
- Openness to relations with international organizations

Ability to collaborate with colleagues working in different fields
Considered a Plus
- Experience in Project Quality, Safety-critical System Development, Risk Management
- Experience in internal auditing or certified internal auditor
- Experience in negotiation with suppliers/sub-contractors
- Knowledge of ECSS space standards ((European Cooperation for Space Standardization (ecss.nl)), NASA TS Space Standards (NASA Technical Standards System (NTSS))
- Knowledge of AS 9100 / EN 9100 / ISO 9001 Standards
- Experience in working with PLM/ALM softwares (SAP, Windchill, etc.)
