Key responsibilities

• Implementing and overseeing project‑specific processes and procedures required for product realization, ensuring alignment with the organization’s process framework and applicable standards.
  
• Evaluating and managing deviations from the standard process framework (tailoring, customization, concession).
  
• Providing quality assurance for work packages throughout product development and manufacturing and supporting their preparation when needed.
  
• Verifying the QA compliance of the project’s verification and validation strategy and monitoring the results of its implementation.
  
• Developing and maintaining the Product Assurance Plan (PAP).
  
• Applying and tracking project and product metrics in accordance with the company’s process framework.
  
• Identifying and monitoring quality and product‑assurance requirements at suppliers and within the project.
  
• Identifying project‑related quality risks and critical items and overseeing their management.
  
• Monitoring the execution of PA/QA activities across development, manufacturing, integration, and testing.
  
• Managing detected defects and nonconformities and supervising the associated processes.
  
• Preparing and conducting quality‑focused evaluations of audits, inspections, and milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, IRR, MRR, QR, FAR).
  
• Maintaining continuous communication with project management, engineering, manufacturing, and customer representatives.
  
• Acting as the primary quality point of contact for the customer.
  
• Gathering lessons learned and feedback and contributing to the continuous improvement of the process framework.
  
• Working closely with PA engineers and quality assurance professionals.
  
• Promoting proactive quality and systems thinking within both the project and the wider organization.
  
• Ensuring compliance with PA‑related documentation requirements and maintaining full traceability.
  
• Overseeing the change‑management process from a PA perspective, including participation in approval activities.
  

Requirements

• BSc/MSc Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Systems or a related technical field.
  
• Quality assurance, project management or test management experience in space, aerospace, automotive development projects
  
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues working in different fields
  
• Experience in:
  
  • Defect and Nonconformance management (NCR)
    
  • Root Cause Analysis and Corrective/Preventive Actions (RCA/CAPA)
    
  • Release management, document reviews, and documentation control
    
• Strong communication skills in a multi‑disciplinary environment.
  
• High attention to detail and systematic work habits.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in parallel
  
• Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  

Considered a Plus

• Experience in negotiation with suppliers/sub-contractors
  
• Experience in SW quality assurance
  
• Experience in project and/or safety management
  
• Knowledge of ECSS space standards (European Cooperation for Space Standardization
  
• Knowledge of AS 9100 / EN 9100 / ISO 9001 Standards
