Production Technician
Key responsibilities

Assemble electronic components and systems according to detailed instructions, schematics, and blueprints

Use fine hand soldering techniques to ensure strong and reliable connections

Inspect and test assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
-
Identify and resolve issues with electronic assemblies, including diagnosing faults and performing repairs
-
Maintain accurate records of assembly processes and any issues encountered
-
Work closely with other production team members, including technicians and engineers, to optimize the assembly process and resolve any production issues
Requirements
-
2 years of experience in a similar role, such as a production technician or electronics assembler
-
Proficiency in soldering and understanding of electronic components and assembly processes
-
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in placing components, performing quality checks and the ability to spot imperfections in products
-
Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

Willingness to continuously improve workmanship quality
Considered a Plus

Work experience in aerospace or automotive industry

Familiarity with SMT machine software and tools

Basic understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to perform minor repairs

Knowledge of equipment maintenance and storage procedures

Familiarity with relevant ECSS or NASA workmanship standards
