Senior Finance Manager - Reporting role is open at our multinational bank partner. We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented professional to support the Department General Manager in overseeing regulatory reporting activities in compliance with Hungarian banking regulations.
Your new role:
The Regulatory Reporting team within the Finance Department is responsible for prudential and statistical reporting in line with current regulatory requirements. The team ensures accurate reporting and monitoring of the entities’ financials across various metrics for multiple stakeholders, including senior management, business leaders, and regulatory authorities. As a Senior Manager leading a diverse and supportive group of professionals, the role focuses primarily on managing regulatory reports for the MNB and maintaining effective communication and coordination with the regulator.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the regulatory reporting team responsible for preparing MNB regulatory reports on consolidated (affiliated entities) basis.
- Oversee the Business Intelligence activities of the reporting team, including the development and management of the local data warehouse.
- Responsible for calculating and reporting regulatory capital requirements.
- Supervise liquidity risk management tasks assigned to the Finance Department.
- Lead ICAAP-related processes and associated activities.
- Manage communication and coordination with the MNB.
- Oversee regulatory disclosure processes.
- Responsible for preparing the business plan report.
- Monitor and report Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book.
- Monitor and report STED (Stress Test and Evaluation Disclosure or similar regulatory requirement—depending on internal usage).
- Ensure regular updates of systems, operational procedures, and risk management policies related to regulatory reporting.
- Perform other duties aligned with the role holder’s education and professional background.
Qualifications:
- University or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in the banking sector
- Strong background in taxation and accounting within financial institutions is a significant advantage.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and financial reporting tools.
