Our partner is a stable, Hungarian-owned business advisory firm with an international background and over 30 years of professional history. We are currently seeking an experienced and professionally dedicated colleague to join the accounting team of their expanding Budapest office as a Full-scale Accountant, offering the flexibility of a 30-hour workweek and 3-4 days of home office.
Elvárások / Requirements
- Chartered Accountant qualification or a relevant university degree.
- Minimum 3-5 years of full-scale (end-to-end) accounting experience.
- Experience gained on the service provider/client accounting side (accounting firm, consulting company, or Big4).
- Active and confident English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
Advantages:
- IFRS and/or Tax Advisor qualification.
- Knowledge of various ERP systems (e.g., Navision).

- Independently managing full-scale accounting tasks for clients.
- Preparing and submitting tax returns and statutory forms.
- Compiling annual and interim financial statements, as well as client-specific reports.
- Providing professional support for audit activities and processes.
- Maintaining continuous communication with clients and authorities in both Hungarian and English.
- Supervising and professionally supporting the work of assistants and junior accountants.
