Feladatok

• Install, configure, and support on‑premise and virtualized network environments using technologies such as Extreme Networks, Cisco, Fortinet, and cloud networking services
  
• Ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability across physical infrastructure, virtual networks, and hybrid environments
  

• Install, configure, and support firewalls and network security platforms (e.g. FortiGate, Cisco Firepower)
  
• Integrate firewall and security concepts with cloud-native security controls (Azure NSG, AWS Security Groups, NACLs)
  
• Support network segmentation and secure traffic flows in hybrid and cloud-connected environments
  

• Design, implement, and administer customer network environments including On‑prem networks,  Cloud networks (Azure VNets / AWS VPCs), Kubernetes cluster connectivity
  
• Develop solutions ensuring high availability, performance, resilience, and scalability
  

• Support and troubleshoot network connectivity in Kubernetes environments, including: Pod-to-Pod, Pod-to
  
• Service, external connectivity and Ingress and Egress traffic flows
  
• Work with Container Network Interface (CNI) concepts (e.g. Calico, Cilium, Flannel)
  
• Implement and maintain Kubernetes Network Policies in collaboration with platform and security teams
  

• Design and operate hybrid connectivity between on‑prem and cloud environments (Site‑to‑Site VPN, Client VPN, ExpressRoute / Direct Connect where applicable)
  
• Manage routing, CIDR planning, and traffic flows across on‑prem, Azure, AWS, and Kubernetes platforms
  
• Support private connectivity patterns (Private Endpoints, internal load balancing)
  

• Analyze and resolve complex network and connectivity issues across on‑prem, cloud, and Kubernetes layers
  

• Monitor and administer network environments using central management and monitoring tools
  
• Analyze traffic flows, logs, and metrics to proactively identify issues and optimize performance
  
• Support observability for cloud and Kubernetes networking (flow logs, metrics, dashboards)
  

• Manage, document, and resolve incidents using Jira
  
• Perform structured root cause analysis for complex network and connectivity incidents
  
• Communicate impacts and resolutions clearly to stakeholders
  

• Continuously assess and optimize network performance
  
• Plan and execute upgrades including firmware updates, hardware replacements, and configuration improvements
  
• Support modernization initiatives (automation, cloud integration, platform networking)
  

• Support network infrastructure managed via Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g. Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation)
  
• Review and maintain network-related IaC templates
  
• Reduce manual configuration through automation and API-driven workflows
  

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network architectures, configurations, and changes
  
• Document cloud and Kubernetes network designs and operational procedures
  
• Produce reports on incidents, performance, and improvement measures
  

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and failover concepts for network infrastructure
  
• Ensure backup and recovery procedures are tested and effective across on‑prem and hybrid environments
  

• Conduct regular network and security audits
  
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations
  
• Support regulated environments through documented and auditable network designs
  

• Collaborate with an international IT and platform team
  
• Participate in cross‑border projects involving cloud, platform, and network integration
  
• Participate in standby/on‑call duties as part of the network operations team
  

Elvárások

• Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, Fortinet, Extreme Certified Associate or comparable
  
• 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments
  
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, NAT, VLANs, firewalls, load balancing
  
• Practical experience with Azure and/or AWS networking
  
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes networking concepts
  
• Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues across on‑prem, cloud, and Kubernetes
  
• 3+ years of experience working in an international team
  
• Experience with centrally managed, standardized network environments
  
• Strong incident and operational mindset
  
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows
  
• Ability to work in hybrid operational models (classic infrastructure + platform teams)
  
• Experience in administration of phone systems (advantageous, not required)
  
• Strong technical documentation skills
  
• Fluent in English and at least proficient Hungarian, spoken and written
  
• Willingness to travel internationally (10–20%)
