Scope of the job:
- As a business partner to the Plant Manager ensures financial transparency across the value chain
- Ensures that all financial policies are aligned with PPF procedures and standards in the plant
- Interprets production & operating results across the value chain as they affect the financial aspects of the company and makes specific recommendations
- Prepare the material, manufacturing reporting to improve operational performance and gain productivity
- Ensures that all production and operations related information is reflected properly in actuals, budget and forecasts
Responsibilities and duties:
- Manage Sopronhorpács production sites financial processes and the team there
- Material and production cost controlling and reporting
- Factory scorecard
- CAPEX spends controlling and PIO process
- Support the material coverage reporting and PPV reporting backwards and forwards
- Support working capital Improvement initiatives
- Budgeting of production and waste costs, responsible for final BOMs
- Co-ordinating the budgeting of procurement/production cost/OWC/rebates/warehousing
- FTE reporting
- Ensure shrinkage/scrap measurement
- Ensure proper utilities measurement
- Ensure proper maintenance measurement
- Update fixed and variable cost allocation guidelines and follow up on their implementation
- Periodically review the methodology of- and compliance with plant performance reporting guidelines
- Support the development and implementation of business development projects to exploit opportunities for increased profits through investment, cost saving, acquisition and diversification, consistent with PPF Europe/corporate minimum earnings requirement
- Identify opportunities for improving current performance and report non-compliance, standards, strategies and objectives
- Ensure accurate, prompt reporting and control of aforementioned operations areas
- Develop and implement the operating and capital budgets, consistent with corporate planning goals and standards
- Attend and actively and constructively participate in
- Monthly calls with the HQ Controlling to discuss and challenge monthly results
- Weekly country management calls
- Be an active and constructive participant in the following work teams
- Operations and finance team
- Monthly performance calls
- Support key finance and operations projects
- Roadmap and proposals for mid- and long-term cost savings
- Post project evaluations for major CAPEX projects
- Collaborate with the Operations Controlling Director, COO of PPF Europe, and the Plant Controllers and Plant managers and SSC
Requirements
- University degree/ Higher Professional Education in Finance or Economics
- Minimum 10 years finance and 5 years plant controlling experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior or leadership position
- Thorough and broad experience in consumer goods business
- High level of MS Office
- ERP knowledge
