Our multinational partner company is looking for an experienced accountant in their team for Statutory Accountant role in Budapest.
Main responsibilities:
- Perform GAAP-to-local statutory reconciliations
- Manage posting local GAAP adjustments and preparation of financial statements
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and support audit process
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related
- 2+ years’ experience as a complex General Ledger accountant
- Experience in statutory accounting is an advantage
- Fluency in English
- Analytical skills, strong understanding of reporting and the month-end closing process
