Your new role
As a Supply Planner – Finished Goods, you will be responsible for developing and analysing regional supply plans within the SIOP organisation. Your main focus will be identifying constraints, aligning supply with demand, and ensuring product availability while balancing inventory levels and minimising supply chain risks.
The role covers one of the major regions (North America, Europe, or Asia Pacific) and reports to a global finished goods supply planning leadership function.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Generating and analysing finished goods supply planning scenarios for the assigned region based on demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory targets
- Collaborating closely with demand planning teams to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and supply plans
- Working with local supply, capacity, and production planners to optimise production plans and material availability
- Identifying supply chain risks related to the assigned business unit and preparing analytical inputs to support decision-making
- Cooperating cross-functionally within the SIOP organisation, including inventory planning and material planning teams
- Continuously improving supply planning processes using data-driven insights and best practices
- Participating in monthly Supply Review meetings
- Actively supporting SIOP execution with a focus on end-to-end supply chain resilience and performance
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you bring solid analytical capability, automotive industry experience, and a collaborative mindset. You have:
- 4+ years of experience in supply chain and operations planning
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a supply chain–related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Strong automotive industry experience, with at least 4 years working within automotive supply chains
- Proven experience in supply planning, production planning, or related roles
- A strong understanding of supply planning principles, demand forecasting, and inventory management
- Hands-on experience with supply chain planning tools, ERP systems, and data analytics
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data for informed planning decisions
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- A detail-oriented, structured way of working with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with adaptability in a dynamic environment
Nice to have:
- Experience working with SAP IBP
- Additional relevant supply chain certifications
