Elvárások

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Legal, Computer Science, Engineering, or Supply Chain 
• We are happy to help you starting you career, but 1-3 years of previous work experience in software licensing and/or dealing with patents would be great too.

• Experience in databases of standardization companies like ETSI, 3GPP or IEEE. and/or in patent analysis tools like iPlytics, USPTO or Espacenet 
• Experience with software/patent licensing terms, automotive supply-chains, and requirements 
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into compelling business recommendations and licensing terms 
• Experience in data analysis and forecasting methods
• Proficiency in MS Office or web collaboration tools (Confluence/JIRA/Sharepoint) 

Feladatok

•  Discover the main patent portfolios available on the market 
• Monitor & research industry news and trends regarding patent landscape 
• Understand and document patent license relevant information from Harman SW architecture and products
• Drive cost reducing initiatives for Request for Quotation (RFQ) and licensor selection processes 
• Build appropriate patent licensor knowledge base including relationships, market presence, market behavior, IPR portfolio changes 
• Create make or buy analysis in consideration of alternative system designs/solutions 
• Collaborate with our parent company Samsung regarding licenses, patents, trademarks, and other IPs throughout multiple departments inside Harman 
• Monitor & research SEP license market and relevant standardization progress. 
• Conduct searches in patent databases and build management level summary for decision making 
• Keep accurate record of patent related affairs on products that are similar to Harman product categories
• Close cooperation with Legal, product development, finance, and program management 
• Coordinate technical discussions between licensors and internal interfaces to ensure requirements are met by suppliers at the best possible commercial terms 
• Preparation and presentation of reports and status updates for internal customers 
• Search and identification of new and alternative licensors and suppliers 
• Support license determination by Program Management with coordination support of Program Management Office 
• Conduct market research for future and trending technologies to design Harman products 
• Gather and analyze financial data related to Business Case, Budget and Forecasts
