Warehouse Supervisor
Feladatok
- Lead and develop the warehouse team, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Plan and coordinate daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inbound, outbound, picking, storage, and inventory activities while maintaining high service levels and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure proper inventory control by applying FIFO principles, managing stock levels, coordinating cycle counts and stocktakes, investigating inventory discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain efficient warehouse organization, including material classification, storage conditions, and compliance with warehouse standards and operational procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing warehouse performance, optimizing processes, supporting WMS enhancements, and implementing automation solutions to improve productivity and reduce operating costs.
- Ensure full compliance with EHS, safety, and company regulations by conducting regular inspections, organizing safety training, managing risks, and supporting incident investigations.
- Prepare operational and performance reports, analyze warehouse KPIs, and provide data-driven recommendations to support business decisions.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Procurement, Logistics, Customer Service, IT, and external logistics partners to ensure smooth material flow and efficient warehouse operations.
- Support internal and external audits, including ISO and customer audits, by maintaining accurate warehouse documentation and ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
Elvárások
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management, including at least 1 year in a team leadership or supervisory role.
- Previous experience in large-scale warehouse operations within the manufacturing, logistics, e-commerce, or retail industry is considered a strong advantage.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Logistics Professional (CLP), Warehouse Management Certification, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt are preferred.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Solid understanding of warehouse process optimization methodologies, including Lean Warehousing, Lean Management, and Six Sigma principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational data, identify process improvement opportunities, and implement effective solutions.
- Good command of both English and Hungarian; conversational English is required.
